I am a travel-junky, life and career coach, organizational consultant, accidental entrepreneur, and educator whose mission in life is to empower people to bring more purpose, passion, and meaning to their lives and to their work through travel experiences.

My passion for helping people re-connect with themselves through travel experiences inspired me to launch Muddy Shoe Adventures (MSA) in 2011. Personal experiences have taught me that travel is pregnant with the possibility of transformation: It challenges you to get out of your comfort zones, push personal limits, experiment with new ways of being and behaving, and re-connect with yourself in powerful, meaningful, and purposeful ways. In doing so, it is impossible NOT to change how we see ourselves, others, and the world. Through MSA, I am able to live with passion and purpose while inspiring others do the same.

In addition to MSA, I am a coach who works with individuals in exploring who they are, pinpointing where they are now in their journey through life, creating a vision for where they want to be in the future, and developing a plan for making that vision a reality.

Prior to launching MSA, I earned my Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University, where I studied the psychological processes associated with personal transformations from adventure travel experiences. I earned my MBA from Pepperdine with concentrations in Global Business & Organizational Behavior, and my BS in International Marketing from the University of Delaware.
