Why does this career interest you?

Ever since I was young, I've been obsessed with movies and movie magic. It would be a dream come true to get to direct my own movies in my own vision.

Education Requirements - Producers and directors typically need a bachelor's degree in film or cinema studies or a related field, such as arts management, business, communications technology, or theater.

Average Salary - $170k to $210k

Five Skills - Determination, Charisma, Creativity, Problem Solving, Project Management. You have to have determination to get through the schooling and training to become a director, along with the charisma to meet people and network. Creativity is important when making art and movies can be just as bland as a blank canvas without creative thinking. Problem solving and project management is important when keeping schedules and running into road blocks while filming. If there's something stopping you from filming, you need to find new way around it and in time to keep up with deadlines.
