Welcome, John L. Scott, to Michael Burke's ACCEPT Portfolio. It is with great pride that I present you with a deeper, more intimate view of my professional life. I hope to explore areas that a traditional resume isn't meant for. I will present you with more information about the person I am outside of the 'coat and tie' interview process. You will get to learn about Michael Burke and what I can do for John L. Scott.

Why the name ACCEPT Portfolio? ACCEPT is an acronym that I adopted during the merger of Parke-Davis Pharmaceuticals and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. Who am I kidding...it was a hostile take-over and my team, including me, had to dig deep to keep focused. We were thought of as the underdogs... the employees from 'the other company.' So I had to make an agreement with myself. I will not accept anything less than what I have accepted in the past. I will strive to be #1, and compete at the same level as ALL the Pfizer employees. I will accept and be proud of who I am and the company I came from, for it is this company that has the #1 and #2 largest drugs EVER sold in the World. Something to be proud of. My team became ACCEPT Portland NW!

A – Accountability

C – Change

C – Challenge

E - Execute

P – Passion and Performance

T – Teamwork

I am proud of my professional accomplishments and am so happy that I have the chance of following in the footsteps of my Father, James Burke, who was a Realtor all his life and served as the President of the Montana Realtor Association for several terms. Like my Father, I will ACCEPT nothing less than #1.

I hope that you enjoy this look at Michael Burke. I want this job and hope to hear from you soon. And when we have that conversation after the interview, I am hopeful that I will be ACCEPTing John L. Scott.
