My lifelong love is being a Funeral Director, which I have been for over 20 years (not including a 10 year hiatus), but I also consider myself a Technology professional, with considerable experience in managerial capacities, including supervision, budgeting, planning, purchasing, Capital improvements. Additionally, I have 25+ years in various forms of customer service. I have a broad knowledge of advanced computer diagnosis and repair, with respect to both hardware and software, for both Windows and Macintosh.

I am currently serving in the capacity of Funeral Director with Wise Funeral Home in Bonham, Texas. I am also Owner/Operator of my own computer & networking company, while also serving as Past experience has been quite diverse. As a Funeral Director, I made a major career change in 2005. After over 20 years as a licensed funeral director (a career I dearly loved, but had lost my passion for), in '05 I departed to the technology field. That career began as a Quality Assurance Engineer for mobile software development. During my time funeral service I worked my way from a basic funeral director in my small Texas hometown, to a Senior Director for one of the largest firms in the nation in metropolitan Dallas/Fort Worth, to facilitating OSHA mandates for employees, to Managing a couple of small firms, to my last position as an HR Assistant. Finally in 2016 I returned to Funeral Service full time, while still providing IT support to a small group of customers. My life in death care gave me a great deal of human compassion. I'm grateful for that, and I strive every day to express that compassion to everyone I meet or work with in some way. That can be difficult to find in the IT world.
