Michael Capponi

Michael Capponi is the Founder & President of Sol Group Global, a real estate development firm in Miami, Florida. With nearly three decades of experience under his belt, Michael initially broke onto the scene in the 1990s, when he began reconceptualizing nightlife in South Beach. Dubbed "The Godfather of Miami Nightlife" by Page Six, Michael was able to leverage his connections and popularity to open himself up to more unique business opportunities.

This came especially in handy after Michael Capponi underwent a massive lifestyle change, upon which he became involved in real estate development and humanitarian efforts. He founded Sol Group Global, then Capponi Group Corp., in 2002, and his organization, Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) in 2011.

Following the massive earthquake in Haiti that left devastation, Michael decided to get involved to help those impacted. He would go on to take over 80 trips to Haiti as part of the recovery edits, which is what inspired him to create GEM.

Since beginning the organization, Michael Capponi and his team have assisted in over 200 mission trips around the globe. Most recently, Michael Capponi and GEM made trips out to California to help the victims of the devastating camp fire.
