I'm the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Vassar College and I'm constantly amazed by the many ways IT can serve to pursue and expand the many aspects of our institutional mission. After serving in large public universities I moved to the world of private liberal arts colleges, and I am loving every minute of it! I consider myself a life-long student of leadership and have a history of successes with the approaches of Situational Leadership. I'm also a firm believer in the Peter Drucker adage “Culture Eats Strategy for Breakfast.”
My wife Heather and I are relatively new to New York's Hudson Valley, but we are both returning to the state, she is from Syracuse and I spent part of my early life in Brooklyn. We're excited about the region both professionally and personally and are taking in as much of the sights, sounds, and of course foods as we can fit into our schedules.
