Hi, I'm Michael. I am a research consultant for the Carter Center's China Focus, and the associate editor of the Carter Center's U.S.-China Perception Monitor.

I am also a Master of Philosophy in Politics (Comparative Government) candidate at the University of Oxford, where I specialized in the politics and governance of China. I received my bachelor's degree from Emory University with majors in political science and Chinese studies.
