Michael Clasby

Photographer Michael Clasby appreciates the journey his profession has taken since its invention back in the late 1800s. In its early years, photography was used mainly as a supplement in the news and travel industries. It wasn’t until the 1950s and ’60s that magazines such as National Geographic and Look Magazine made photography popular with their photo essays, taking advantage of reduced prices of film and cameras.
