I am a poor kid from the trailer park in Southern Kentucky working to make good.
I have been comitted to youth development for over 15 years, starting when I was a "youth" myself growing up in a family struggling with poverty and addiction. Along the way someone identified me as a potential leader and took a chance. I have been working to "Make Good" ever since.
Along the way I have become the first in my family to graduate college where I studied theater, communications, marketing and international relations. Travel became my passion, and I have since studied and worked in Ecuador, Mexico, and Sweden in search of effective ways to communicate and build cultural bridges.
Over the years I have worked with some of the world's best brands and non-profits as a brand strategy professional. I have spent a few years bringing marketing, branding, and digitial strategy skills to the non-profit world to help move missions forward.
I am a social activist dedicated to Ghandi's idea that the best way to find yourself is in the service of others. I am a storyteller, a digital engagement specialist, brand and marketing know-hower, and Bruce Springsteen fan.
