I love learning and making new things. I've worked at a few places you might have heard of (Simple, Uber, Medium) and have made some things I'm quite proud of:

* Invented Teadrop for which I hold a patent.

* Co-foundedHachidoriand created an app for Japanese language learners calledGoi.

* Authored the open source libraryMDCalendar

I was born on the East Coast, went to school in California, studied abroad in England, Spain, and Japan, and after a short stint in NYC moved to Portland, Oregon. Now, I reside in San Francisco.
