Michael Ferro Chicago Art & Design Curator and Collector hosts galleries and exhibits featuring art history, architecture and culture within the Chicago art scene. Over the years, Michael has volunteered at numerous Chicago Art Museums and Art & Cultural Events. Proud of his collection, which features a diverse array of styles and artists, the Art & Design Aficionado often lends pieces from his private collection for the benefit of charitable events.
Michael Ferro is an Art & Design Expert. Now a retired Architect, Ferro has transitioned into the role of an Art Historian. As someone who has always admired pieces from the past, Ferro takes a page from the book of so many inventive and inspiring Chicago based artists. More recently, he has become active in his support of Chicago Art Museums. In addition to hosting events and volunteering, Ferro enjoys featuring upcoming art and culture events at Chicago art museums on his blog. His favorite locations include the Art Institute of Chicago, Smart Museum of Art, Field Museum and Hyde Park Art Center.
