A longtime resident of Albany, New York, Michael Fish graduated high school from Christian Brothers Academy before studying political science and business administration at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh (SUNY Plattsburgh). His collegiate accomplishments include gaining admittance to the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society and being an active participant in the Student Association. Albany resident Michael Fish has also studied estate planning at the college level and obtained financial planning certification through the American College of Financial Services.
After earning his bachelor of arts from SUNY Plattsburgh, Mr. Fish accepted an internship with the Albany offices of Northwestern Mutual. He distinguished himself during this internship, receiving “Top 5 Intern” honors among Northwestern Mutual’s 500 interns throughout the United States. He subsequently became a financial advisor with the firm and continues to serve clients in areas ranging from retirement planning to tax efficiency. In addition to working directly with clients, he supervises and mentors three new advisors and interns as an entry-level firm manager.
