Hi, I’m Michael Fralin. I’m a senior attorney with over 20 years of experience in finance law, primarily focused on commercial real estate and structured finance. Throughout my career, I’ve led a wide range of complex transactions—everything from drafting and negotiating sophisticated deal documents to managing secured lending structures across diverse asset classes.

I spent a significant portion of my career as General Counsel at SomeraRoad Inc., where I had the opportunity to take a hands-on role in creative financing strategies. One project I’m particularly proud of was leading the tax-exempt bond issuance for the Lightwell Tower—it was a great example of how innovative structuring can deliver real results for clients.

While my background is deeply rooted in real estate finance, I’ve always been drawn to the broader world of commercial finance. I recently joined Dentons because I saw an exciting opportunity to expand into areas like private credit, structured lending, and acquisition finance, while collaborating with talented professionals across disciplines.

Over the years, I’ve overseen more than $2 billion in transactions, and I’ve learned that what matters most—beyond the technical work—is helping clients feel confident, informed, and supported. My approach is strategic, creative, and always client-focused. I'm passionate about solving complex problems and delivering financing solutions that help businesses move forward.
