Michael Ganci

Michael Ganci is the local media editor for Syntax, a company that produces press releases and media advisories for more than 50 school districts across the local area. Prior to that, he served as the Editor of the Wantagh and Seaford Herad Citizens and worked for five year's as an Editor with Patch.com.
Michael spent two years as the Editor of his college newspaper, and he freelanced for the Long Island Catholic, ABC and Patch before being hired in August of 2010 as Editor of East Meadow Patch.
Michael graduated from SUNY Oneonta with a B.S. in Mass Communications and a minor in Journalism. In high school, Michael played a prominant role in the drama club, as he starred in seven plays, including leading roles in George Washington Slept Here and The Good Doctor. Michael also was in an operetta in college, as he had an ensemble role in Pirates of Penzance.
Michael shares a strong passion for sports, as he cheers hard for the Mets, Jets, Knicks and Rangers.
