I'm the Research Director at Albizia Capital. We invest in the best growing consumer businesses across South East Asia.

In 2013, I helped organise the first half marathon in Luang Prabang, and using a unique business model, the two races we've held so far raised more than USD200,000 for local charities. This is a huge amount of money for a very beautiful but sadly still poor part of the world. The 2015 race was on October 18th and again all the proceeds went to local charities.

If you're interested in getting involved in a charity raising race in Laos (who isn't?), get in touch.

n 2014, together with a group of friends, I started the SAMBA: Singapore Asset Manager and Broker Awards. The idea is to have some fun but raise funds for South East Asian charities - without having to run 21km! In the last two years, this event has raised more than USD400,000.
