Michael Guffey

I will graduate with a second bachelor's degree in nursing this December and pass the NCLEX in January. I have a strong background in research from my genetics degree and from positions as a research assistant at Texas A&M University. I developed negotiating, problem solving, coordinating, and sales skills in my internship with one of the country's fastest growing logistics companies. I grew my customer service skills serving customers and cooking at a restaurant. My professional interests include critical care, wound/ostomy care, therapeutic communication/counseling, research and genomics. I believe in hard work, effective communication, technical competence and compassion. I am currently looking for a nursing position to start January 2014.
