Photography is many things - in my view it is primarily about light. The play of light on a subject is like a living thing to me. Photography is not just about composition and technical details like shutter speeds and f-stops, it's not just about the lens and its inherit qualities. Light is the key element in a well thought out composition and when the light is right all the rest of the elements fall naturally into place.
