Michael Hole

Hi, I’m Michael.

Co-founder at Girl Director, CEO at Symphony of the Earth, Author of The Execlintians and Bass Player in The Brindle Men.

Mostly I’m a Video Marketing Mentor living in Sunshine Coast QLD, Australia. In 2003 I made one of the best decisions of my life to leave the corporate world of banking and join my life partner, Rachel Dunn, in her growing company Girl Director.

To join a business called Girl Director wasn’t an easy decision. “Hi, it’s Michael here from Girl Director,” sounded a bit weird! But after some careful deliberation and realising how much I loved to help people, I discovered that I had masses to offer our clients and the business as a whole. So after leaving his full-time job in the finance industry I came back to Rachel and said “Let’s do it!” It made both of us the happiest people in the world.

I am the detailed one who works one-on-one with our clients through Zoom. I teach the technical side of things like editing, marketing funnels and Facebook Ads. I makes sure everyone’s campaigns are working and will take the time to make sure each client is looked after. I still enjoy managing the finances, our team and the systems side of the business, and often help our clients with that side of things as well.

I have an IT and music background, and has also directed music videos on the side. I spent many years being an Extra in Home and Away and other commercials and TV shows, which all adds to the joy of creating videos every day.

Not to mention, working alongside award-winning cinematographer, Jim Frazier, as the CEO of Symphony of the Earth. I am also the producer of the documentary Through Elephant Eyes, author of the Sci-fi novel Execlintians and always find time to pick up my bass and join the guys for a jam in The Brindle Men.
