I've always been a techie. Technology has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and as I've grown older I've just become more and more fascinated by it. I currently own all kinds of devices - a custom built desktop, a MacBook Pro, a Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and an Asus Transformer Prime.
At school, Computing and Physics were my strongest subjects, although I also enjoyed Spanish. If there's one thing I regret, it's that I couldn't continue with my Spanish after leaving school.
Studying Computer Science at university has taught me a whole load of new skills, including programming languages and theories. My placement year at IBM has done wonders to cement these abilities and find practical applications for them. I'll never dismiss something as "this will never be useful" again!
As my social life goes, I enjoy video games, both single player and multi-player. I'm also a fan of watching movies and anime with a group of friends - other people just make it more fun! I also enjoy photography, and I'm addicted to the Kindle app on my Nexus 7, and can't say no to a good book. I just wish I had more time to read!
