Michael Hsu was born in Northridge, California, on August 9, 1991. He was reared like a native Californian since his love of the community kept him grounded there, unlike his passion for flying. Hsu's family, peers, and friends were always competing with him, and he understood he wanted to be better than them while also remembering his roots and giving back.
He grew up in Thousand Oaks and went to Thousand Oaks High School, where he became interested in business and finance. Hsu discovered that there was relatively little on this issue taught in high school and regularly conducted his study on economics, financial markets, and other related topics.
