Rev. Michael Jakes is an Associate Pastor at Bethesda Church of God in Christ. He is active in youth ministry and teaching and is the founder of, along with his wife, of Upper Room Outreach Ministries, a ministry dedicated to the preaching and teaching of the Word of God. He also hosts several podcasts, including 'Walk Points' and 'That's The Word!' He currently authors two blogs and formerly hosted and co-hosted 'The Bible Speaks' and 'Pool of Bethesda' programs respectively, over BCAT TV in Brooklyn, New York.
