An active participant in the independent music scene for three decades-- first as a musician with the seminal west coast band 28th Day continuing with the founding of Devil in the Woods records in 1983 which has over 100+ releases to its credit. In 1998, founded DIW Magazine which enjoyed a very successful eight year run before its sale in early 2007.

In late 2009 replaced "What's that supposed to mean?" with "What can I do to help?" and began Act Two.
