Michael Gamber

Michael Gamber is a Master of Science, Integrated Marketing, candidate in the School of Professional Studies. With a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Miami, Michael began his career as an analytical chemist in the pharmaceutical industry at Pfizer. Leveraging this firm foundation in science, he began a ten year career in luxury beauty at Estée Lauder Companies in the disciplines of Quality Management, Project Management, and finally, Brand Management.

Recognizing the community need, Michael has volunteered his time over six years serving fellow New Yorkers in the areas of adult and children’s education. He was awarded the President’s Volunteer Service Award in 2014. While pursuing his graduate degree, Michael works at New York Cares, the nation’s leading volunteer management organization, training non-profit leaders on the skills necessary to deliver impactful programs to their constituents. His commitment to service also extends to NYU’s Center for Student Activities, Leadership, and Service, and is an active participant at workshops provided through NYU’s Reynold’s Program in Social Entrepreneurship.

Upon graduation, Michael will utilize his degree to drive organizations that value a sustainable future, and continue his efforts to educate students in both public and private sectors.
