Michael J. Gonzales

Michael J. Gonzales is an actor and composer with over 20 years in the entertainment industry. He has appeared in a number of films, commercials, music videos, and television series.

Most recently, Michael co-starred on the season finale of 2 Broke Girls on CBS. He has also appeared on 1900 Penn (NBC Universal), Foto Novelas (PBS), and in the indie feature Finishing the Game by director Justin Lin (of the Fast & Furious franchise). He will soon be appearing on the new FX show Married.

As a lifelong musician with tremendous range, Michael has worked steadily in Hollywood. He played in Maria Conchita Alonzo’s talk show band on Al Dia Maria, was the pianist in Hollywood’s legendary comedy club, The Comedy Store, and composed the score for the controversial Sundance hit and Justin Lin’s breakout film, Better Luck Tomorrow. Michael also has a long-running musical collaboration with Carlos Gallardo of El Mariachi fame, having scored multiple projects for the filmmaker.
