Michael J Poling

A recent college graduate, Michael J. Poling earned his bachelor of science in mechanical engineering with a minor in business administration from the Boston University College of Engineering in May 2013. Among the courses he pursued were classes such as CAD and Machining, Management as a System, and Automated Manufacturing. Over the summer of 2012, Michael J. Poling acted as an intern for Emerson Network Power, where he developed hardware testing methods and analyzed cost-saving opportunities.

In addition to his professional and academic experience, Michael J. Poling acted as president and vice president of the Boston University Ski and Snowboard Club, an on-campus organization with more than 3,000 members. He also assisted the Boston University Chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers in his role as secretary and treasurer. His responsibilities included organizing the Student Leadership Seminar, an event involving more than 100 other universities. While still at Bernards High School in New Jersey, Michael J. Poling achieved distinction as an Eagle Scout.
