My name is Kazeem Michael Olawale, a 400-level student of Agricultural and Environmental Engineering at the University of Ibadan. I have a strong interest in environmental engineering, climate change, waste management, and renewable energy—fields where I believe engineering innovation can make the most lasting impact.

Beyond academics, I actively serve in student leadership. I am the Transportation Committee Chairman of the University of Ibadan Students’ Union, where I coordinate efforts to improve student mobility and campus logistics. I also serve as the Majority Leader in the Student Representative Council of the Great Independence Hall and have contributed to the Intelligence and Price Control Committees.

My leadership roles have sharpened my skills in communication, coordination, administration, and policy implementation. I am also a skilled report writer, capable of documenting and analyzing information clearly for both technical and administrative purposes.

My internship experiences at Amec Construction Company and Miracle Landscaping Company exposed me to hands-on work in construction, landscaping, and environmental project planning.

In addition, I am actively involved in sustainability and health-focused communities. I am a proud member of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), EcoVanguard—which promotes sustainable practices, and the One Health Club, which conducts outreach and training on animal and environmental health. I am currently undergoing training on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and participating in the Climate Literacy and Action Training on Zero Carbon Emissions by the University of Nottingham.

I also serve as a Student Ambassador for AIIDEV, where I help promote development-centered and climate-conscious innovations within and beyond the campus community.

Currently, I am seeking opportunities to contribute to and learn from internships, development projects, and environmental initiatives—especially those related to climate resilience, sustainable waste systems, and renewable energy solutions. I remain open to leadership roles aligned with my passion for sustainability and innovation.

I look forward to connecting with professionals, mentors, and organizations in the fields of environmental engineering, climate action, and sustainable development.
