As the proprietor of MetSchools, Inc Michael Koffler operates one of New York City's most prestigious elementary school providers. Offering programs for mainstream and special education students, Michael Koffler and his staff take care of the needs of more than 1,600 children annually. The 10 schools overseen by MetSchools apply the latest academic, clinical, and nutrition studies so the pupils receive the best care and education. Additionally, Michael Koffler recently announced the development of new early childhood centers. Known as Explore & Discover, this endeavor will launch in Manhattan in the fall of 2014 with more than two dozen additional locations to open at later dates.

Michael Koffler's most renowned achievements include his development of schools for students with special needs. The Aaron School functions as a K-12 college preparatory academy for nearly 300 students with learning differences. As pupils complete the general curriculum, social skills courses, and mentorship training, teachers, psychologists, social workers, and therapists are ready to assist them. With the Rebecca School, Michael Koffler created a therapeutic day school for individuals between the ages of 4 and 21 with autism and pervasive developmental disorders. By applying a Developmental Individual Differences Relationship-based methodology, the school uses music therapy, academics, and family involvement to produce a comprehensive educational experience.
