Originally from Pennsylvania, Michael graduated from Immaculata University, where he was a college baseball player. He continues to stay involved in the sport as a coach and enjoys traveling and staying active. He lives in Media, PA with his fiancée Sam and their two dogs, Jeffrey and Carson. The whole family are avid Phillies fans.
