Michael Leafer is the Founder and President of Leaf Management in the Boston area. Leaf Management is a corporation that rehabs, manages and funds residential rehab projects for contractors, investors and homeowners.

Michael started out by purchasing local condemned homes, remodeling them, renovating them, and selling them for a profit. He was fascinated by this process and quickly built up a diverse portfolio of homes he had successfully invested in and flipped.

Through Leaf Management, Michael provides short-term funding or lending to individuals who share his passion for rehabilitating and renovating dilapidated homes. In addition to hard money lending, Michael shows and rents apartments; at present, he manages nearly 100 units.

Michael has always been interested in retooling existing items or systems and making them better. He initially pursued this as an Electrical Engineering student at the University of Massachusetts; he would later take a similar approach to the new-and-improved security systems which he designed and invented for his previous company.

Now, at Leaf Management, Michael enjoys his ability to help other rehab houses and improve the potential and overall quality of existing residential and/or commercial properties. His client base is always growing and he has worked with hundreds of people throughout the Greater Boston area.
