For example, as Executive Director of a fledgling non-profit, I orchestrated an historic state legislative victory in less than four months. This positioned the start-up as a legislative force to be reckoned with, while saving 15% of the legislative-push budget. My rock-solid dependability, creative use of social media, and “lighting a fire” under grassroots volunteers proved key in boosting visibility and political clout. My career success has been built upon tenacity, cost-efficient strategies, innovative problem-solving, humor, and solid relationships. With an executive leadership style of collaboration and consensus-building, I have created value-added member services, sparked coalitions, and led PAC and non-profit fundraising to record levels.
