Michael Lin Baum

A veteran lawyer, Michael Lin Baum brings more than 25 years of experience to his current position as the managing partner of Baum Hedlund Aristei & Goldman, a prominent law firm in Los Angeles, California. The company maintains a reputation as a leader in the field of pharmaceutical litigation, wrongful death, consumer fraud, and personal injury cases. In his leadership role with the firm, attorney Michael Lin Bau,m spearheads the firm’s pharmaceutical drug litigation department.

Mr. Baum graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, before completing his law degree there, as well. Under his direction, the firm has successfully brought suit against major companies such as American Airlines, Bayer Corporation, Baxter Healthcare, McDonnell Douglas, and others. Recently, Mr. Baum played a key role in litigation against Takeda Pharmaceuticals, the makers of the drug Actos, after it was discovered that individuals taking the drug for more than one year, had a more than 40 percent increased rate of bladder cancer.
