Michael J. Meinema

Michael has dedicated his entire life and career to Christian education, and he finds it an honour to serve God and His children by serving in Christian schools. Michael has worked in JK-12 schools as a Teacher, a Guidance Counsellor, a Director of Communications, a Vice Principal, and most recently as a Principal and C.O.O. For the 2013-2014 school year, Michael is on Sabbatical. This is allowing Michael to focus more on his family and especially on being home with his daughter, who is still part-time in school this year! Michael will look for a new position in Christian school administration for the 2014-2015 school year, but for now, he is enjoying every minute his year off!

Michael is also a husband and a father, and his children are just beginning in the journey of Christian schooling! Michael's son is in grade 1 this year, and his daughter has just begun school as a Junior Kindergarten student! Michael's wife Marcella is a Christian school teacher as well, so their family knows the importance and impact Christian education can have on the lives of children.
