Michael Mendes is the former CEO of Just Desserts. He has held various executive leadership roles in the food and property industry, including the many years he spent transforming the farmer’s cooperative Diamond Foods into a publicly-traded firm in the role of CEO and President.
In 2010, Michael Mendes was recognized as the Bay Area Most Admired CEO for Public Companies over $500M.
Michael Mendes is married to Dr Wendy Berry Mendes, Professor of Psychiatry at the UCSF Weill Institute for Neurosciences, and the Endowed Sarlo/Ekman Chair of Emotion and Psychology.
