Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, Dr. Michael Molleston practices neurosurgery through both the trauma and stroke programs of TexomaCare Neurosurgery in Denison, Texas. Over the years of his practice, Dr. Michael Molleston has developed a special interest in neuroimmunology, brain tumor biology and microglial activation, and spinal instrumentation design and production. He has published extensively on these topics and presented on them to the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and the Southern Neurosurgical Association.

Dr. Molleston earned his MD from Washington University as an American Heart Association Research Fellow. He completed his residency at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, serving as chief resident at St. Louis Children’s Hospital and also at the John Cochran Veterans Hospital. Dr. Michael Molleston proceeded to hold positions in various hospitals before finally joining TexomaCare in October 2016. He is professionally affiliated with Texoma Medical Center and is a member of the Texas Medical Association.
