Michael Mullen Jr

Hi there! My name is Mike Mullen and welcome to this digital gateway to the films that I have created thus far. To see my work, click my Vimeo button below! Some of these films are weird... some are weirder... but all are meant to entertain and express my love for film. Here are some little tidbits about me:

-I started shooting video in 2006 doing special occasions and weddings. Later that year I came to a crossroad where I needed to make a choice: So I took the plunge, went to Bridgewater State University while working full time, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in Communications with a concentration in Film and Media Technologies. I have worked hard to be where I am, am proud of what I have accomplished so far, and actively looking for the next big adventure! My camera and I are ready!

-I am co-creator of AMP Film Productions, an independent filming group. We are a small group of friends who actively seek to make movies that cater to our odd tastes in humor, spontaneity, and randomness. Where AMP's creations are different than most videos out there is we attempt to make it audience-driven with "choose your own ending" twists and turns established via online voting. We are also currently working on a project where the choice you make will be instantaneous providing you hours of different experiences in one film.

-I like pickles

-I have been a salesman, a retail manager, an advocate for three adults with developmental disabilities, and now the Sales and Marketing Coordinator for a cell phone/broadcasting tower company. I have lived an interesting life so far but always in the back ground, filming as made my life worth living.

-I grew up on a 100 acre family farm in Massachusetts, and have a very large family on both sides whom are amazing and the best support one could ask for.

-I love to hike, swim, fish, and be as active as I can be.

-I am a tiny bit of a gamer... and by "tiny" I mean have been playing them since I was 5 on the Atari and my love for digital entertainment has only grown as I got older. That classifies me as a dork right?
