Enterprise Account Executive in Kansas City (remote)
Friends, Family, and Connections,
I'm in the open job market and would love to tap into your networks for my next role.
The scoop: I've spent 25+ years selling complex enterprise software-closing partnerships, not just logos, I'm a trusted seller. Several of my higher ed clients have partnered with me across multiple companies, and nearly all are happy to serve as references.
My specialty: greenfield territory expansion and multi-stakeholder, C-suite-level sales and SaaS. The part I love is the relationship building and the hunt.
Most recently, I built a massive pipeline calling on healthcare and nonprofit for CRM-fundraising technology. I had $6M in qualified opportunities in 8 months. From scratch. Before the deals could come across, the company shifted direction.
Higher education is my sweet spot but I'm not tied to it. It's a market I'm comfortable with. Heck, who doesn't like to eat at the Student Union in a suit!
At iModules Software, I personally closed 100+ universities. Several were near $1M contracts and I was a major player in growing the company's valuation before being acquired.
At DanCo Systems, I had several $1M+ contracts, and support agreements with ConAgra Foods and other Fortune 500's in the manufacturing space.
Startups are great - at Custom Donations and MobileUp, I sold products that were barely ‘a concept’, with no market presence or brand recognition to lean on -and did well. One lost Series A funding, the other ran into a legal non-compete issue -both short stops on my resume.
I also built K-12 & school district markets early in my career and would happily return to that space as I really enjoyed helping K-12s and love nonprofits.
I've closed over $20 million plus in revenue in my career.
I'm exploring my next role in sales -I can build relationships and sell anything.
The market's tough right now but taking my time, I want the next place to be one I stay at for years.
If you know of anyone hiring for sales, or you'd be willing to mention my name to someone in your network, I'd genuinely appreciate it.
Feel free to pass this forward.
Thank you.
