Mid of the year 2019 he volunteered for his first physical event "Lagos goes vegan" an event on Veganism convened by "Borikinni Joshua". The event triggered the spirit of volunteering in him, which made him volunteered for more events like "Ladies Of Honour" by Victoria Olatunji Olayemi.

From the event "Lagos Goes Vegan", Michael Otega made some friends that introduced him to the "Sustainable Development Goals" (SDG), where he volunteered for "World Largest Lesson" (WLL) as an activator and got certified for, "Teens Can Code" (together with Barry White). Also volunteered for "Adambradford Startup" in Thinkation (a yearly event by Dr. Ubong King) 2020.

He also volunteered for "Draw for change Initiative" (DCI) an art organization with the SDG convened by Barry White, "Teen's World Empowerment" as a 3D Animator during her maiden online class during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Michael Otega has always had the spirit of volunteering which has won him many high networks of friends, connections, information, and he puts his very best at volunteering, which always made people think he was part of the event organizer.

His search for knowledge and passion has led him to multiple events in business, technology, health, art, self-development, discovery and many more.

Currently, he works as an assistant manager and supervisor at ULLA farm (a company into catfish farming), online business consultancy, graphics design, 3d animations, blockcahin, Artificial Intelligience and many more...
