A former Hollywood executive, I am now an elite recruiter/headhunter devoted exclusively to Entertainment & Media. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about recruiting top talent (both as a corporate executive and a third-party recruiter). I am savvy, smart, honest, well-connected, and easy to work with.
A native of Akron, I began my career working for the CPA firm of KPMG in Cleveland as an Audit Manager, Local Recruiter and National Instructor. After seven years at KPMG, I was recruited by The Walt Disney Company in Los Angeles, where I worked first in Corporate Audit, and then at Buena Vista Television & Production. While in Audit, my areas of responsibility included The Walt Disney Studios (i.e., Motion Pictures, Television & Home Entertainment), Hollywood Records, The Disney Store, and Disneyland. In 1993, I led the financial due diligence for Disney’s acquisition of Miramax Films. I was also the Head of Recruitment for Corporate Management Audit.
After four years at Disney, I began a nine year executive career with Sony Pictures Entertainment (five years in Los Angeles and four years in Miami). While at Sony, I was CFO/COO for Columbia TriStar International Television. In addition, I led financial due diligence for several of Sony’s key investments and acquisitions (including Sony’s purchase of Telemundo in 1998). In 1999, I was relocated to Miami where I helped launch Sony's Miami-based regional operating headquarters for Latin American Television (distribution/licensing, local productions, cable networks, advertising sales).
In 2004, my passion for recruiting and hiring talent, combined with my entrepreneurial spirit, lead me to create a premier recruiting firm devoted exclusively to the Entertainment & Media industries. Based in Miami, I work in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, and everywhere else in the Americas.
