Michael Pankow

Consultant, Project Manager, and Director in New York

I work to advance the rights, dignity, and quality of life of others. I do this primarily through executive and project leadership; strategic action planning; raising revenue and awareness; building stakeholder networks; managing people and projects; research; writing; creating opportunities; inspiring others; being a driver of organizational innovation; and truly enjoying having an impact.

I have 24 years of leadership experience in the nonprofit sector, particularly in start-up and managed change/growth environments. I've worked with both US domestic and international organizations focused on human rights; social-economic development; conflict transformation; health; personal development; end of life care; and education.

I love collaborating, building partnerships and working in the social impact space. I offer a full range of strategic advisory, hands-on engagement, and special project and interim placement services to help start-ups, small to mid-size nonprofits, family foundations and individuals manage transition, realize strategic growth initiatives and advance their visions for improving the lives of others.

Feel free to share your vision, your challenges and solutions. Follow me on Twitter. Connect with me on LinkedIn. Send me an email.
