I studied Biochemistry at Binghamton University in New York and I am now currently a Neuroscience Masters student at the University of Tübingen in Germany.

My motivation for this blog is to further explore the relationship that nutrition plays in disease. I was first awakened to the concept of lifestyle as a truly significant method of treatment by the book The China Study by PhD T. Colin Campbell. Since then I have been reading different books, research papers and public opinion on the relationship between food and nutrition.

What I have found most interesting is the quantity of information on this topic, both scientific researchers and general public are looking for answers to this very question. What role does nutrition play in disease and does it really matter what I put in my body?

Here in this blog I try to address these questions in a scientific manner by citing the data from publications relevant to human disease.
