Michael Patrick Perez

Michael Patrick Perez is a director and editor of experimental and narrative films, music videos, and installations. A California native classically trained on the cello, Perez's projections have been exhibited at various art venues, such as Oakland's San Pablo Arts District, and the Oakland Underground Film Festival's Multimedia Salon. He is currently the in-house music video creator for Carnage Records, NYC DJ Larry Tee's label. Current projects for Carnage include the soon-to-be-released Boys That Go Woot!, featuring Roxy Cottontail. Perez is currently working on his latest short film titled BEFORE TIGERS, a suspense narrative about the dangers of meeting strangers online for casual sex. BEFORE TIGERS is Perez's senior thesis film at the Art Institute of California - San Francisco CA.
