Michael Paul Welch is a Barbadian musician and producer born in the UK, who has been involved in the entertainment industry for the past 40 years. He has performed through out the years with a number of bands and musicians but is most remembered in Barbados for being a member for eight years of "Syndicate"(now Syndikyt) singing lead on the popular music videos "Nothing" and "Peace". Michael is the first artist to record a Crop Over medley of songs while living in New York back in 1986 with "Kool Bajans"!
Michael released his first solo album "Ready Or Not" which contains fourteen original tracks in 2010 and his sophomore album "Dangerous" in 2020.He released a single" No More War" in November 2024 in reference to all the wars going on in the world. January 2025 was when he released his third album "One More Time" In June of that same year, he did a remake of a song he wrote 30 years earlier called "Jam To Calypso". He currently based in Southampton UK and will be performing there.
