After eight years of software test experience I have learned how to conduct tests in different ways and also, that I have a way of thinking that makes testing natural to me.

I love using different methods to somehow create a more concrete picture of a software, than the mental model I create in my head. By using mind maps, drawings, flow diagrams, excel sheets, tables, user stories etc. I get a more clear picture of what has been tested and what needs to be done. I have also found out that it is easier to talk to other engineers around me when using those methods.

Since I am a calm, easy going, structured and a fact oriented person, I tend to investigate possible bugs thoroughly before presenting it to developers and creating issues. This just to make the solving process a bit easier for everyone.

I am really interested in all technical stuff, and I do not hesitate to try new things out, use them for real and evaluate them. I think it is interesting to hunt for those functional issues that might be present in a software, but I am also interested in possible user experience design problems. It does not matter if the product works really good from a technical point of view, if users do not understand how to use it!

Everything can always be done a little bit better than before, and I really enjoy being a part of that process!
