My name is Mike and I'm a computer software engineer in the Metro-Detroit area. I love challenges. I love solving problems that most people can't figure out!
After graduating as valedictorian from Allen Park High School (Allen Park, Michigan), I finished my dual BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Michigan-Dearborn (Dearborn, Michigan) and my MS in Computer Engineering at Northeastern University (Boston, Massachusetts).
I worked at Raytheon Company in Massachusetts for six years as a software engineer and senior embedded engineer. I primarily designed, developed, and tested distrubted signal processing algorithms for defense radars. I also worked on radar schedulers, simulation software, and GUIs.
In 2012, I moved back to Michigan and joined Continental Automotive in Troy, MI as a senior software engineer. I work on wireless functionalities for Ford and Fiat vehicles, such as passive entry, passive start, remote keyless entry, and tire pressure monitoring.
My hobbies include playing the saxophone, golf, basketball, running, biking, building Android apps, and reading - especially about technology, math, and neuroscience.
I'm currently looking for a new challenge in the field of software engineering near the Metro-Detroit area!
