Hello, my name is Michael Pisauro and I am currently a student enrolled at Montclair State University studying Communications with Media Arts. Upon starting my college career, I had no idea what I wanted to study. I had a vast interest in various different subject matter ranging from music, art, social media, to even psychology. However, it wasn't until I found the School of Communications that I realized that the major I ended up choosing offered all of my interests rolled into one.

I have been running my own personal music chart website for the past seven years, to which I rank songs based on my musical preference. Through the years I've developed my skills and gained vast experience on many different editing programs to help create different pictures, edits and layouts that can be used for websites, social media and more.

I've been given the opportunity to work with independent artists to help expand their social media brands and it's been quite riveting. It has allowed me to explore different social media-related techniques that I can implement on websites such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and has given me new skills on how people gain organic exposure online. I've also had experience planning social media posts and content to keep followers engaged for future material. These experiences have deeply enhanced my knowledge of social media and how it works.
