Michael Porter

Michael Porter’s interest in technology and programming began at an early age (he became familiar with BASIC in elementary school), it was not until 1995 that he became actively involved in it as a career, when a local record store hired him to put some of their catalogue online. As his career brought him further and further into web development, he felt increasingly at home: the logic behind searching for flaws in code and solving problems came naturally, making sense on a very basic level. Originally from Ames, Iowa, Michael moved to Chicago in 1999 to build a web development career. The last few years he has been focusing on DevOps, and moved to NYC in 2018 to be a DevOps Engineer.
