Michael Raineri is a graduate student in Design for Social Innovation at the School of Visual Arts.

He has worked as a designer and fabricator within the entertainment industry where he’s contributed to projects for clients such as Disney, Verizon, Rihanna, and Fox’s Glee television series.

An inquisitive and imaginative designer, he is fascinated with both materials and the people who use them. During his time in the entertainment industry he uncovered his passion for sustainable practices and materials, which he hopes to pursue through his thesis project.
