Michael Rastiello has spent most of his life in Dover, New Jersey, the place he calls home. In 2021, he moved to Florida, but the move was temporary. By 2023, he returned to New Jersey to be closer to his family and the familiar surroundings that had shaped much of his life. Now 66 years old, he remains deeply connected to his wife of 44 years, their three children, and four grandchildren, who form the foundation of his daily life and plans.

His life has been shaped by a strong sense of consistency and discipline, values that have guided both his personal and professional paths. His dedication to health and fitness is one example of how he approaches life with structure and responsibility. That same mindset carried over into his coaching years, where he devoted his time to developing young people through sports. He believed in showing up, being reliable, and teaching by example, whether it was through routines in fitness or mentoring young athletes.

He pursued his studies at Kennedy Western University and the Academy of Advanced Transportation. While these academic experiences helped lay the groundwork for his career, much of what he learned came from doing the work itself. Years in logistics provided real-world lessons that helped shape his leadership approach and problem-solving skills. He came to believe that growth happens through repetition and staying committed to a process.

His career in logistics spanned more than thirty years, with the most notable chapter being his 24-year role as Director of Logistics and Transportation at Casio America. There, he oversaw global freight operations, managed complex transportation systems, and led teams responsible for critical logistics functions. He approached his responsibilities with care and professionalism, earning Employee of the Year honors in both 2005 and 2009. His work was never about personal recognition—it was about getting the job done right and being someone others could count on.

Beyond the workplace, he spent decades involved in youth sports. He led the Rockaway Township Football Program for over 20 years and coached football for 34 years at both the high school and youth levels. His teams experienced success on the field, including multiple championships and undefeated seasons, but his focus was never on the scoreboard. It was on building good habits, encouraging teamwork, and helping kids believe in themselves.
