About Me

I’m currently a Business Development/Sales Representative for ID Station, part of the Brands Australia group of companies.

The youngest of five, I was born in Ipswich, QLD, but grew up in Townsville, where I graduated from James Cook University as Bachelor of Arts.

My family moved to Melbourne and I followed shortly after. It took me awhile to settle and adjust, but now I consider myself a Melburnian.

My first sales job was selling soft drinks door to door (Osbornes). After sometime doing this, I accepted an offer to develop my sales skills with a leading car rental company. I enjoyed my time here and learned a lot, so it was hard to leave, but an opportunity to further enhance my skills and advance my career selling online booking platforms to the accommodation industry was too enticing. Bonus: I got to travel all over Victoria.

I did leave sales for awhile to try my hand at a few other things, such as Youth Work, but I soon realized sales is what I enjoy most and what I do best.

I haven't looked back since.

In my spare time I like to write - I've had poems professionally published in print and online, won a few awards, and even appeared in ‘The Best Australian Poetry’ anthology along side some of my favourite poets.

Outside of that, I enjoy playing guitar, going to live music events, travelling, videography, family get togethers, and trying to beat my PB most Saturday mornings at Park Run. I'm currently teaching myself to read hieroglyphs for an upcoming trip to Egypt.

Thanks for reading. I look forward to learning a bit more about you.
