English-speaking Gestalt Therapist & Psychological Counselor in Frankfurt — Online Across Germany and Europe
Who I work with
Having lived and worked in China for more than 12 years, I bring extensive intercultural experience and a deep understanding of life between cultures.
I offer counseling and psychotherapy in English and German for internationals, expats, students, academics, and professionals — online from Frankfurt and in person in Frankfurt am Main.
Common concerns
Living abroad or between cultures can bring unique emotional challenges. Questions of identity, belonging, relationships, and feeling at home often become more present during times of transition. Difficulties that once felt manageable may return or become stronger when familiar structures, language, or support systems are far away.
I support people experiencing relationship difficulties, anxiety, self-doubt, emotional overwhelm, low self-esteem, loneliness, grief, depression, difficult life transitions, or a recurring sense of feeling stuck — especially when old patterns or unresolved experiences begin to resurface.
My approach
My work is grounded in Gestalt therapy and informed by psychodynamic and humanistic perspectives. Together, we explore recurring patterns in relationships and everyday life, difficult emotions, and ways to reconnect with yourself, your feelings, and your needs.
I offer both short-term counseling and longer-term therapeutic work.
Professional background
I have worked in psychotherapeutic counseling since 2014, completed a five-year training in Analytical Gestalt Therapy, and work in private practice as a licensed practitioner for psychotherapy (Heilpraktiker für Psychotherapie).
